I had no idea, or concept of a masturbation community when I first typed “masturbation” into a crude, early search engine. It was the first naughty thing that I looked up, and I was shaking. I didn’t know what I would find–I just needed to search “masturbation>” I found solotouch.com, a free site dedicated to promoting masturbation as a choice for sexual pleasure and fulfillment. It featured first-person stories about masturbation. I stayed up night after night reading the stories, and masturbating. http://www.solotouch.com/erotica/all/page1.html?filter=All
Hundreds of stories of all kinds, but all having something to do with masturbation–I could not feast enough on these stories. It did not matter what they were about or who told them–it was masturbtion that turned me on, although I didn’t realize it at the time. I came out as a masturbator, and wrote some of my own stories. I was exhilarated.
Solotouch needed to collect some money to keep free, so they opened a pay site that offered the ability to comment on stories, and also a chat room. I got up the courage to join, and one afternoon, I entered a chat room. People were talking about masturbation. I don’t remember what I said, but…I told a room full of people that I have always loved masturbating!!! Everyone was masturbating, and I told them I was masturbating too. There were a couple of women…they said they were wet. A man told about masturbating that morning, and before he was done, he had an orgasm….it went on, like that.
In those days, the chat room was a safe place for people who loved masturbation. Everyone was respected, everyone shared. People had favorites and friends, and they would private chat with them, but in the room, all masturbators were welcome, and everyone was masturbating, in their own way. You could hop into the room at any time, and be welcomed. We were all masturbators and, as I look back, the one thing we shared was that we were aroused by the act of masturbation.. We all shared the same masturbation space…sometimes reaching orgasm, sometimes edging, and aroused knowing that others were masturbating. And for me, over and over, I could not hold back the orgasms that overwhelmed me every time I “confessed” to masturbating. Someone would suddenly announce they were cumming…everyone would encourage them until they couldn’t type any longer, then they would wish everyone goodbye and leave.
It was primitive and pure. The open embrace of everyone’s masturbation experience that the stories bring about carried through into the chat room. Everyone was there to enjoy their favorite thing to do….with others, safely. The newbie who jumped in and said “asl??” even before saying hello, was gently ignored. Women, when asked, would describe their pussy and clit in detail for all of us to hear. Men, when asked would talk about their balls, or the technique they were using, right then. Everyone enjoyed that everyone else was masturbating.
After a few years, the administrator of solotouch could not keep up with the site, and sold it to Yanks, who agreed to keep some of the free elements. The site became more popular, and the spirit changed. It became normal for guys to barge into chat with “asl?”. The core of the ‘original’ solotouch members drifted away, and that special time was gone, a time when a wide circle of people whose erotic life revolved around masturbation itself, came together in self-pleasure.

I enjoyed reading and masturbating as I read this. I don’t know from what was written when the writer wrote it how old he was or when he first began his search for “masturbation” sites. I’m a masturbator and began when I was 12 some 70 years ago. The Internet was years off. I got into porn at about 14,in hose days it was girlie magazines. I moved into hardcore porn about a year later. Thru my love of porn I became a habitual masturbator and each time I masturbated I loved it more. I had huge stashes of magazines, photos movies and eventually DVDs. In the 80s I bought my first computer and got into the Internet. I began to search the Internet looking for anything related to masturbation and pornography. Thanks to the Interne and the availability of pornography I have gone from a habitual masturbator to an addicted masturbator. It is articles like this one that keeps me going. Thanks.
