Until very recently, what has prevented me from fully living my solosexuality through masturbation is the image that masturbation has in our society. At best, it is only a palliative, an alternative to relieve a temporary excess of excitement when sexual intercourse is not possible. At worst, it is not tolerated. But masturbation is never positively promoted as a primary sexual practice.
The masturbation community on the internet is amazing because it allows you to discover several things:
1°) one is not alone in having this fantasy, this unusual sexuality. For me, it helped me a lot to accept with kindness the masturbator that was in me.
2°) accomplished masturbators often have a similar path: an initial sexuality like everyone else, then a growing affirmation towards solosexuality. With variations of course. Some will have very little or no sexuality with others, others will discover themselves to be masturbators later on.
There is one constant: once you have accepted yourself as a masturbator, you are at peace with yourself and there is no turning back.
3°) to have the fantasy of considering oneself as a loser, to play with it, to believe in it does not necessarily mean that one is really, objectively in everyday life.
4°) we can be proud of ourselves: we know how to take care of ourselves. And above all, we have been able to accept ourselves as we are, to overcome prejudices and to free ourselves from the gaze of others, even if it is not always easy.
