I’ve been reading a porn addicts diary blog for maybe a year now. Unfortunately it’s not in English so I will not post it here on this forum.
Like many of us, he’s been watching porn since puberty. Now at the age of 35 he realised that he has practically wasted his life to porn and masturbation. He lives alone in a small flat, has very irregular workhour low-income job, does not have many friends, has never been dating girls, no hobbies or any other interests in life etc. He watches porn, calls sex services and masturbates several days in a row. He concluded that for him to overcome this massive addiction he needs to do something very different from his previous attempts to overcome the addiction and therefore decided to come out of the closet with his addiction and started the blog. Now after two years he seems to have finally taken steps forward in his fight and with his life.
To me couple of days with minimum sleep and maximum masturbation gets me to the point where “I’ve have it”, making me to reduce. It’s pretty harmless as so far no other people or my life has not been affected practically at all. So I do know that I have the tendency but I can live with it without any mentionable issues on my life but I regularly come to the “too much” sector.
Then there are these no-fap, anonymous addicts etc. support groups, so there must be people who are looking for help with their masturbation.
