NOTE THAT SOME EXPERTS ARE FINALLY GETTING THE RIGHT END OF THE STICK: THE ISSUE IS MASTURBATION, NOT PORNOGRAPHY
Dr Nicole Prause, a sexual psychophysiologist and founder of Liberos LLC, said masturbation is the real problem….
Dr David Ley, a psychologist specialising in sexual difficulties, said: “Men use masturbation to compensate for lack of sexual satisfaction in relationships. “As this sexual behaviour is often accompanied by viewing pornography, it can be easily misunderstood.”
Dr Prause added: “This supports exactly my concern, that men are not preferring sex films, per se, they are more likely avoiding their partner through masturbation, and they happen to watch sex films while they masturbate.”
She said the recent research, presented at the American Urological Association meeting failed to ask men questions about masturbation.
Rather, a man who is unhappy in his relationship is less likely to be able to keep it up and so will resort to watching porn
Dr Prause’s study of 335 men in relationships found 22 per cent of men reported they preferred viewing sex films rather than having sex with their partner.
However, Dr Prause said 28 per cent also reported that they preferred masturbation to sex with a partner.
Further analysis showed these were the same men.
Dr Prause added: “Men who preferred masturbation to sex also reported more difficulty with erections.”
…Sex therapist Daniel Rosen said rather than porn causing men to be a flop under the covers, “erectile dysfunction likely drives porn use”.

I have chosen to be a celibate masturbator. I really can’t blame my wife.
I’m also impotent but find that to be a turn on. Plus being impotent helps me stay pussy free.
