Jerking off vs Gooning

This is just my personal opinion, but jerking-off and gooning are two different things. Sure, to the casual observer on the outside looking in, they appear to be the same thing with the same physical motions and, perhaps, the same end result (i.e. an orgasm), but that’s where the similarities end.

Jerking-off is masturbating with the intent of having an orgasm, a purely physical release of pent-up sexual energy or frustration, and generally takes 10-20 minutes (just a ballpark figure, I know everyone is different).

Gooning, on the other hand, is a process, a rite, a ritual. Gooning is a celebration of the joy of masturbation in and of itself, and though it may eventually result in an orgasm, having one is not necessarily the primary goal. If anything, an orgasm is a by-product of gooning, one which some of us try to delay or deny for as long as possible. The physical and mental state one slips into after an extended amount of masturbation (becoming goontarted or porntarded or stoopid etc., pick your favorite term), when you become one with your penis or vagina, when absolutely nothing else matters but the indescribable sensations you are experiencing, and staying in that state for as long as humanly possible, is the ultimate goal of gooning! For me, the longer I goon and the deeper I go down that rabbit hole, the more I become a purely sexual creature, a fuck animal if you will, and I fall into a deep state of masturbatory bliss. I am in my own little world, my private Nirvana, and I never want to leave!

In my experience I’ve found that the longer I goon, even if I do have an orgasm, I still stay somewhat aroused, in heat so-to-speak. My “goon meter” never fully resets and when I start masturbating again I fall into the goon state much quicker and easier. It’s best when I go a few days, 4 or 5 or 6, gooning all day but denying my orgasm. I’m constantly horny and constantly thinking about masturbating and I just love it!
