Audio programs to help you identify and come to terms with your masturbation addiction

Are you addicted to masturbation? Or suspect you may be? Are you spending more and more time masturbating? Do you think about masturbating, even when you are not doing it? Have you tried stopping or cutting back, but just can’t seem to give it up? Does the thought that you may be losing control excite you to masturbate even more?

If you have discovered this website, then you may already be addicted to masturbation, perhaps incurably so. If that possibility disturbs you, then you may be “in denial” about your addiction. The first step in coming to terms with masturbation addition is the forthright and honest admission of your condition. The following podcasturbations (audio recordings) may help you determine whether you are addicted, and admit to yourself your compelling need for masturbatory gratification.

Warning: if in fact you are addicted to masturbation, you may experience uncontrollable sexual arousal while listening to a frank discussion of the habit. Before listening, ensure that you are in a private, secure place, wear loose and easily-removed clothing, and maintain a supply of personal lubrication and dry toweling.

Yahoo group: Onania Support [periodic posting]

Announcing the Yahoo group Onania Support, a masturbator support community affiliated with Onania . Org/asm. If you are a chronic masturbator, you are cordially invited to join.

Support for People Living with Chronic Masturbation Addiction

OnaniaSupport is a supportive, affirming community of people living with chronic addiction to masturbation. The focus is on our lives as addicted masturbators, and the pleasures / conflicts / impacts related to our compelling habit. Unlike other pro- or anti-masturbation groups, OnaniaSupport is value-neutral and non-judgmental. It makes no assumption that masturbation addiction is inherently good or bad, or that chronic masturbators should seek to change their behavior. Each member is free to form and express his own opinions without fear of criticism or judgment.

In OnaniaSupport we freely share our masturbatory fantasies and techniques, including extreme excessive practices used to intensify autoerotic gratification. We explore our conflicts about the costs of masturbation addiction on career, family, friends, and life goals. We process residual feelings of shame, guilt, and humiliation that for some attach to chronic masturbation. We offer understanding, encouragement, and validation — both to those still struggling with their compulsions and to those finally reconciled to permanent and incurable masturbation addiction.

The group is primarily male in gender, from gay to straight in sexual orientation. Female chronic masturbators and partners of chronic masturbators are also welcome.

Please join at Onania Support. You may also subscribe for email-only (Yahoo ID not required) by sending an email to OnaniaSupport-subscribe@yahoogroups.com (be sure to state your age and gender and reference masturbation in your email to indicate you are not a spammer).

Removing Pornography

More of Sean’s battle with masturbation and pornography addiction. Personally I have tried this approach, deleting my porn stash, many times and found that I always fall back into the habit.

Sean’s Blog- Removing Pornography

Being addicted to pornography, I had accumulated a pretty extensive library of images, video clips and movies onto CD’s. Almost all of my pornography was from the Net. In the past few years, I had filled 33+ CD’s. Maybe other people have more than that, but for me, it was never enough. I would look around on porn. sites for hours and hours saving images and video clips that appealed to me. I would save the porn. images and clips in a file on my hard drive until I had close to 700 MB, enough to fill up a CD.
So, when Ms. B ordered me to get rid of all my porn. a couple weeks ago I was at first hesitant. I thought all that time I had spentaccumulating my porn. library was now going in the trash! The first thing I did was delete all the porn. on my hard drive. Then erase the porn. websites I had bookmarked in my browser. The final act was destroying my porn. CD library and throw it in the trash.
I knew getting rid of porn. from my life was going to be difficult. It wasn’t just the throwing it all out, it was also staying away from it that was going to be difficult. Not browsing porn. sites every morning like I’m used to. Breaking habits is difficult, especially old ones.
Even though it has been a couple weeks already from being porn. free, I still having with drawls. I still crave wanting to peruse porn. site after porn. site. To help combat this, Mr. B has me "write lines" for 45 minutes each morning before I perform my corner-time and masturbation session. Hand writing the line, "Viewing porn. is not healthy for me" helps curtail the "drive" or "need" to view porn. It helps me focus and concentrate and in some ways relaxes at times.

Sean is trying to control his masturbation addiction

A long-time friend and fellow masturbation addict is taking a different direction. We all wish him best of luck.

Sean’s Blog- Introduction May 18, 2009

I decided to take my blog in another direction. I will instead, write about my addiction to pornography and my addiction to chronic masturbation.

I have been addicted to pornography since, and I’m estimating here, 2001, about eight years. To me, addiction means I can not stop doing or performing a certain act and the addiction has negatively affected my career, relationships and health. I have tried to “ease back” the amount of time I view porn. and rarely succeeded.I would spend hours perusing pornographic websites and bookmark my favorites. I save images and video clips in a folder on my hard-drive and when I had accumulated about 700 MB’s, I would burn them onto a CD. The images I had saved I would spend hours putting them throughPhotoShop; lighten & darkening, sharpening, changing the contrast and viewing size.

My other “addiction” is I am a chronic masturbator. That is, I used to masturbate for hours and hours each day/night forgoing my responsibilities. I would isolate, view porn either on my computer or printed material for hours at a time and masturbate. Most of the time I would orgasm, other times saving it or “edge play” making my masturbation time period longer and longer. The amount of time I spent viewing porn. and masturbating was determined by my work load and other outside factors and responsibilities. I usually averaged 5-6 hours per day viewing porn. and masturbating. In extreme cases, I spent a total of 6-10 hours per day.

I want to make it clear I do not feel viewing pornography and masturbation are “bad” or negative things. I believe they can be healthy outlets on a number of physical and psychological levels. However, like other forms of pleasure such as drinking, gambling, eating, prescription drugs, etc., etc they can and often are abused.

I will write more about the steps I am taking to control my addiction to pornography and chronic masturbation soon.
