Newport Beach, Calif. — Police in Newport Beach say a man arrested for allegedly masturbating in public fits the description of a man wanted for committing similar acts on the Balboa Peninsula.
32-year old David White of Orange was arrested Friday on suspicion of indecent exposure. This after witnesses reported he was masturbating in public in the 400 block of East Balboa Boulevard.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed a man doing lewd acts on the Balboa Peninsula to come forward.
Police say they had numerous reports from residents about a man seen masturbating near parked vehicles, inside a parked car and on the porch of a residence.
